Online Design of Axially Loaded Column using C-Language code

 INTRODUCTION:

In this post i'm going to get you into an interesting thing that is 'how about if we use programming language to Design a Column that is Axially Loaded.' Yes. I've made it for you to make your work easier. If a student want to know the answer of a question belongs axially loaded column design which was given in his academic exam, he could find the answer here. Obviously, try the code below. Believe me its as easy as you just message your friend. Ok lets go.

            >>> All you have to do is give the inputs in 'Stdin Inputs' section below the code in the given format:

1. Width of column in mm       =   '     '    ( Just enter the value )

2. Depth of column in mm       =   '     '    ( Just enter the value )

3. Axial load on column in N   =   '     '    ( Just enter the value )

4. Fck in N/mm2                      =   '     '    ( Just enter the value )

5. Fy in N/mm2                        =   '     '    ( Just enter the value )

6. Effective cover in mm          =   '     '     ( Just enter the value )

7. Provide Diameter of bar to be used in mm    =   '     '     ( Just enter the value )

Here,     Fck = characteristic compressive strength of concrete

Fy  = yield strength of steel

And then finally, Just click on that Compile button. That's it you will get your answer. Lets try.....

            >>> If you are struggling to execute the code or if you don't get your answer, Watch the Video given below for you to know how to Correctly Execute the code.

Types of bars in beam - Reinforcement details of simply supported beam - RCC structures Explained with video

Simply Supported Beam: A simply supported beam is beam which is just supported over two end supports without any fixity between beam and supports. Types of Reinforcement bars in a Simply Supported Beam: There are mainly four types of bars in a simply supported beam. They are: 1. Main Straight Bars 2. Main Cranked Bars 3. Hanger or Anchor Bars 4. Stirrups 1. Main Straight Bars:          These are the straight bars provided in the bottom side of the beam to resist the bending moment of the beam. 2. Main Cranked Bars or Bent-up Bars:          These bars are provided in bottom side of the beam as well but the edges of the bars are bent up to resist the negative bending moment at the supports and a part of shear. 3. Hanger or Anchor Bars:          These bars are the straight bars of lesser diameter ( Generally 12mm ) compared to main bars and are provided in the top side of the beam to just support the stirrups and place stirrups in position.  4. Stirrups:          These are the rectangul

Pipe Culvert Construction Details - Parts

PIPE CULVERT:                A culvert is structure which is constructed across the road to pass the drainage from one side of road to the other side without causing disturbance to the road traffic. A bridge is also the same case. But the only difference is that the culvert is of small length ( Less than 6m ). Parts of a Pipe Culvert: 1. Formation Level 2. Guide stones 3. Earthen bund or Earth fill 4. Pipe 5. Bedding for pipe 6. Head walls 7. CC Bed for Head walls 8. Canal bed and slope revetment           The above mentioned parts are shown in a detailed animation video of pipe culvert.
